EFPTA members attend UK national psychology teachers' conference at Aston University, Birmingham, July 2012
EFPTA members from Finland, Germany and Denmark took part in the annual conference of the Association for the Teaching of Psychology, on 6-8 July 2012. They braved the terrible English summer weather to play an active role at the event, contributing to workshops and presentations on diverse topics relevant to psychology teaching at pre-tertiary level. The conference is the flagship UK event for psychology teachers, attracting 200-300 delegates from the various UK countries. An ATP spokesperson said: 'We are delighted to welcome EFPTA delegates to our conference. They enrich our delegates' conference experience, and enable sharing of ideas and good practice in psychology teaching, across national boundaries.'
She added: 'Look out for the 2013 ATP Conference, to be held on 5-7 July at Keele University (1 hour from Birmingham or Manchester) - all psychology teachers from across Europe are welcome!'
